The situation came to light after Neeraj Priyanka Choudhary, a passenger on the aircraft, documented the unruly conduct and posted the video to Instagram. According to the account shared with the recording, individuals occupying the front rows, specifically rows 1 through 5, completely flouted onboard regulations. Despite active turbulence requiring the fasten seat belt sign to remain illuminated, these passengers refused to remain seated, choosing instead to crowd the central aisle while the flight was underway.
Loud Interactions and Wandering in the Aisle
Witness accounts describe a scene of persistent disturbance throughout the cabin. Rather than staying in their allocated places, members of the travelling group walked across rows to hand food to relatives and friends. Furthermore, individuals seated in front turned backwards, standing up on their seats to shout across the cabin at companions positioned several rows behind them. Onboard flight attendants intervened multiple times, pleading with the passengers to take their seats and buckle up for safety, repeatedly saying that sir and ma'am needed to be seated due to active turbulence.
