The two individuals were attempting to navigate across the thoroughfare on a two-wheeler when an approaching Mahindra Bolero, traveling at extreme speed from behind, struck them with devastating force. The violent impact propelled both occupants off the scooter, throwing them several meters onto the hard asphalt. While the woman succumbed to her traumatic injuries, the injured male driver was rushed to a medical facility for urgent care.

Visual records obtained from the scene show the scooter riders proceeding cautiously across the road when the fast-moving four-wheeler approached rapidly from the rear. Before the two-wheeler could safely reach the opposite side, the utility vehicle rammed into it without visibly decelerating.
