- Reduction in Question Count: The total number of questions has been reduced by 10 percent. Instead of the previous 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), candidates will now answer 180 questions.
- Revised Total Marks: Corresponding to the reduced number of questions, the maximum achievable score has been lowered from 800 to 720 marks.
- Time-Locked Question Sections: The question paper will be divided into 5 mandatory sections. Each section contains 36 questions, and candidates will be allotted exactly 42 minutes to complete each section. Once the 42-minute timer expires, that specific section will lock automatically, moving the candidate to the next section.

Following the completion of the computer-based assessment, NBEMS plans to declare the official NEET PG results by September 30, 2026.
