A shocking incident has come to light from a government primary school located in Buraka village under the Hathin assembly constituency of Palwal district in Haryana. A Junior Basic Training teacher stationed at the institution stands accused of arriving at the school premises while heavily intoxicated. The development sparked immense anger among local residents, who immediately alerted local law enforcement. Acting on the complaints, police personnel arrived at the school and escorted the teacher to the police station.
Previous allegations and official complaints
Sher Mohammad, a former sarpanch of the village, stated that residents have long been troubled by the erratic conduct of the teacher. According to his allegations, the educator frequently roams around the school grounds and the village in a heavily drunken state. On October 21, observing his severe condition, villagers gathered at the school and informed the authorities. Promptly responding to the call, police arrived at the scene and took the teacher into custody, removing him from the premises.
Inside video footage and student complaints
Footage from inside the school building has also surfaced following the incident. The video shows the teacher sitting with his jeans rolled up to his knees and wearing glasses, while another teacher is present nearby. During interactions captured on tape, his speech and reactions appear entirely unusual. However, the video alone does not serve as an independent confirmation of intoxication. Furthermore, villagers claimed that multiple students studying at the school had previously complained about the teacher attending classes under the influence.
Principal statements and employment history
According to the school principal, complaints regarding the teacher's unacceptable behavior had been filed multiple times in the past as well. Claims were also made that similar grievances had emerged during his previous posting. Records indicate that the teacher, Ramesh, has been teaching at the government primary school in Buraka village since 2022. He was entrusted with the responsibility of teaching the fourth grade. Approximately 300 students study at the institution. The educator originally hails from Chhapraula village in Palwal district. Ved, the police officer who arrived at the scene, stated that the teacher's condition resembled that of an intoxicated person, which is why he was transported to the station. Police confirmed that an investigation is currently underway, while details regarding any administrative action taken by the education department have not yet been released.
