A major overhaul has been introduced in the medical services of Rajasthan's Pali district, ensuring that patients no longer need to wait until the following day for critical pathology test reports. Following an initiative by District Collector Dr. Ravindra Goswami, a streamlined system has been successfully implemented across seven key hospitals in the district, allowing patients to receive their diagnostic test results within a maximum of two hours from the time of sample collection.
Accelerating the Treatment Process
This proactive step taken by the Medical and Health Department is primarily aimed at accelerating the medical treatment process. According to Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Vikas Marwal, patients can now present their reports to doctors on the same day to promptly receive medical consultations and begin their prescriptions. Previously, patients frequently had to wait at the hospital for hours or make repeated visits the next day just to collect their reports. This new arrangement significantly saves both time and money for patients, sparing them from unnecessary hassle and repeated travel.
Hospitals Covered Under the New Facility
The administration has initially rolled out this efficient service across seven major medical institutions within the Pali district. These facilities include the Community Health Center in Marwar Junction, the Community Health Center in Sadri, and the Community Health Center in Takhatgarh, alongside other designated centers where patients can now access these expedited diagnostic services.
Essential Tests Available Within Two Hours
Under this upgraded operational framework, patients will receive results for a wide array of vital diagnostic tests within the strict two-hour window. The covered tests include hemoglobin and complete blood count alongside erythrocyte sedimentation rate, TLC, and DLC. Furthermore, blood grouping, bleeding time, clotting time, malaria card tests, HIV, and VDRL screenings are completed within the same timeframe. Additionally, urine albumin, urine sugar, urine pregnancy tests, and stool ova examinations are also delivered promptly, enabling immediate medical intervention without delay.
