China secured the gold medal with a record-breaking score of 1773, while Kazakhstan took the bronze medal with a score of 1754 after a tough competition. Indian badminton player Lakshya Sen was eliminated in the second round of the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, losing in three games to Singapore's former world champion Loh Kean Yew on Saturday (September 26, 2026). The duo of Suruchi Phogat and Kamaljeet teamed up to claim victory in the 10m air pistol mixed team competition, breaking the Asian Games record in the process. In Nagoya, Kamaljeet and Suruchi won the gold medal for India in the 10m air pistol mixed team event with a combined score of 484.6.
