A police spokesperson informed news agency AFP that at least 95 individuals lost their lives after violent floodwaters swept across the border region adjoining Tibet. Spokesperson Abi Narayan Kafle stated that 95 fatalities have been verified so far, pointing out that approximately 28 police officers are also untraceable.
