Iran has adopted an uncompromising position on its nuclear assets, declaring that not a single gram of enriched uranium will be allowed to exit the country. This firm message was delivered directly by the Secretary of Iran Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaee, during high-level discussions with Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir in Tehran. The Pakistani military leader visited the Iranian capital on Tuesday in an attempt to help restore stalled diplomatic engagement and peace negotiations between Tehran and Washington, a mediation initiative that faced an immediate roadblock.
Conditions Placed Before Resuming Talks
During the interaction, Mohsen Rezaee clearly stated to the Pakistani delegation that any dialogue with the United States remains entirely off the table until Washington agrees to fulfill all of Iran demands. Rezaee emphasized that Tehran will not participate in diplomatic exchanges while its conditions remain unaddressed by the American administration. This categorical refusal effectively halts Pakistan attempt to act as a diplomatic bridge between the two long-standing adversaries, signaling that Iran will not yield to indirect diplomatic pressure.
Nuclear Stockpile Declared National Wealth
Highlighting the domestic importance of the nuclear program, the Iranian security chief stated that the country nuclear material represents a significant national asset and the sovereign property of the Iranian people. He asserted that these resources are designated solely for internal utilization and domestic purposes. Rezaee subsequently reaffirmed this rigid stance in a statement posted on social media platform X, confirming that Tehran has no intention of transferring its strategic nuclear materials outside national borders under any prospective settlement.
