The family of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder and leader Abhijeet Dipke has suffered a severe personal loss. While Dipke remains detained by Delhi Police in the national capital, his elderly grandmother passed away at their ancestral residence in Maharashtra.
Passing Away After Prolonged Illness in Hingoli
According to family sources, Dipke's grandmother had been ailing for the past few days. She breathed her last at Santuk Pimpri, her native village located in Maharashtra's Hingoli district. The sudden bereavement of the senior family matriarch has plunged the household into deep grief.
Detention Following Protests in Delhi
The tragedy coincided with significant political developments in the national capital, where Dipke was leading and participating in demonstrations organized by the CJP. Delhi Police took him into custody amid the ongoing agitation, causing immense distress to his relatives even before the news of the bereavement arrived.
Grief and Uncertainty Over Village Return
While events surrounding the CJP protest and Dipke's detention continue to unfold in Delhi, his family in Maharashtra faces the dual burden of mourning and funeral arrangements. Because Dipke is currently held in custody, uncertainty surrounds whether he will be able to return to his home state or reach his ancestral village in time for the final rites.
