Addressing a public gathering in the national capital, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a sharp and aggressive offensive against opposition parties, specifically targeting the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party. Shah made a categorical prediction, stating that due to its persistent negative politics, the Congress party will not be in a position to win any elections even by the year 2030 and over the next 30 years. He asserted that whenever the party faces defeat, it immediately resorts to questioning democratic and constitutional institutions.
Rebuttal on Rahul Gandhi and Vote Theft Allegations
Sharpening his attack on Rahul Gandhi regarding the repeated claims of vote theft, Shah alleged that this rhetoric is merely a calculated shield designed to protect the vote bank of infiltrators. He maintained that the citizens of the country have entirely rejected negative and divisive politics, pushing opposition parties further into political oblivion. Shah remarked that the opposition praises constitutional bodies when victorious, but points fingers at the Election Commission the moment electoral defeat strikes.
Targeting Arvind Kejriwal and the Punjab Government
Directing his criticism at AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, the Home Minister accused the former Chief Minister of ignoring basic civic administration in Delhi while focusing solely on protests and agitations. Shah warned that the people of Punjab are ready to give a fitting reply by completely uprooting the AAP government in upcoming elections. Highlighting the unaddressed garbage mountains in the capital, Shah noted that nothing substantial was done to clear the landfill sites, whereas the central government is actively transforming them into beautiful public gardens.
Multi-Crore Projects Inaugurated for Yamuna Rejuvenation
Accelerating infrastructural development in the capital, Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 43 Delhi Jal Board projects worth Rs 8,941 crore aimed at revitalizing and cleaning the Yamuna River. Speaking at a gathering in Dwarka, he emphasized that these new initiatives will serve as the backbone of the river's rejuvenation and significantly improve the city's drinking water infrastructure. He recalled that right after assuming office at the centre, Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a major meeting in the very first month to outline a clear vision for purifying the Yamuna.
Fast-Paced Progress on Water Treatment Initiatives
The Home Minister shared that the administration has already covered over 40 percent of the journey toward this target in a remarkably short span. Crediting the efforts of Rekha Gupta and Pravesh Verma, he noted that these projects encompass wastewater treatment and various drinking water initiatives designed to uplift public infrastructure. Shah concluded that the central government remains deeply committed to ensuring comprehensive development and essential amenities for the residents of Delhi.
