A shocking attempt to abduct a chartered accountant (CA) in a luxury Mercedes vehicle was reported from the Central Park area in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Two unidentified assailants managed to board the vehicle by threatening the driver with a dummy pistol and a knife, intending to take control of the car and kidnap him. However, the attempt was thwarted when the vehicle was involved in a road collision on Delhi Road in the Amer area, forcing the perpetrators to abandon their plan and flee the scene.
According to the details of the incident, the victim CA was driving his own Mercedes car when the two suspects forcibly entered or boarded the vehicle in the Central Park vicinity. Under severe coercion from the armed suspects, the driver continued navigating the vehicle towards Delhi Road passing through the Amer region. Amid the high-stress situation, the driver lost full control due to nervousness and crashed the Mercedes into a motorcycle along the route. The impact caused the car to grind to a halt.
Panic Following the Collision Leads to Suspects' Escape
Fearing immediate detection by onlookers and law enforcement following the traffic accident, both suspects panicked and fled the site on foot. The victim, unharmed in the crash, subsequently made his way to the Ashok Nagar police station in Jaipur to file a formal complaint regarding the abduction attempt and the armed intimidation he experienced.

Upon receiving information about the road accident and the alleged kidnapping attempt, a team from the Amer police station swung into action. Station House Officer (SHO) Rajendra Godara led the police force to the crash site to secure the area and conduct a preliminary examination. During a thorough search of the impounded Mercedes, investigating officers discovered and seized a replica pistol along with a knife left behind by the fleeing suspects.
Local authorities are currently investigating the matter from multiple angles. Police officers are probing whether the incident was a targeted kidnapping attempt, a robbery attempt, a result of personal enmity, or an extremely dangerous prank. Investigators are also scrutinizing video feeds from nearby CCTV cameras along Delhi Road and Central Park to trace the fleeing suspects and establish their identities.

In an earlier incident reported from Shanti Nagar near Gurjar Ki Thadi, the conduct of a police team during a vehicle recovery operation had come under public criticism. On September 2, in connection with a vehicle theft case, police officers had apprehended two suspects before proceeding to the location.
According to reports, police personnel arrived at the residence of local resident Rajendra Sharma late at night accompanied by a loading tempo. Witnesses alleged that officers confiscated a motorcycle parked directly outside the house. Concerns were subsequently raised when the same motorcycle was officially recorded as having been recovered from nearby bushes. Meanwhile, police teams in Amer continue their search to track down and apprehend the two suspects involved in the Mercedes abduction attempt.
