Following reports that Harry Boxer, an individual linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has been arrested by authorities in America, the pain and frustration of his family members have come to light in Chatarpura, his native village located in the Bansur area of Rajasthan's Kotputli-Behror district. The relatives have asserted that they have no connection whatsoever to the alleged criminal activities of Harry Boxer, yet they continue to face relentless police questioning and severe hardships simply because of his name. In an emotional appeal, the family stated that they only know Harichand and do not know anyone named Harry Boxer. The relatives mentioned that the frequent visits by law enforcement have even begun to terrify the young children living in the house. Now, following the news of his arrest, the family harbors hope that they might finally get some relief from this ongoing ordeal.
From a Rural Background to the World of Crime
The family has once again drawn widespread attention after reports emerged confirming that Harry Boxer has been detained by American agencies. Harry Boxer's real name is reportedly Harichand Jat, and he hails from Chatarpura village situated in the Bansur tehsil of Kotputli-Behror district. His father is a farmer, and the family comes from an ordinary rural background. Before entering the dark world of crime, he used to train in boxing in Jaipur. According to available records, he has more than 10 criminal cases registered against him across various parts of Rajasthan, including Jaipur, Alwar, Sikar, Dholpur, and Karauli, involving serious offenses such as robbery, attempted murder, and assault. He is widely reported to have close ties with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Family Ties Were Severed About Five Years Ago
Rahul Jat, a family member, shared that their contact with Harichand was completely cut off approximately five years ago. Following that fallout, the family severed all relations with him and officially disowned him. Despite this, the family claims that police forces from Rajasthan and other states periodically arrive at their home to inquire about Harichand's whereabouts and activities. The continuous visits by law enforcement have left the household mentally exhausted and distressed. The relatives reiterated that they have not maintained any communication with Harichand for a long time, yet police inquiries have persisted unabated. They pointed out that this situation has taken the heaviest toll on the young children at home. Whenever police vehicles arrive or officers begin questioning adults, the kids get startled and frightened.
Law Should Take Its Course Without Harassing the Innocent Family
Expressing their deep anguish, the relatives maintained that if Harichand has committed any crimes and has now been arrested, he deserves to be punished strictly according to the law. They stated they have no objection to his arrest, but the entire family should not be harassed and targeted because of his name. The family reiterated that they recognize Harichand but have no association with Harry Boxer, stressing that they had broken all ties with him about five years ago. Despite this, they lamented that police officers frequently visit their residence to conduct inquiries.
Family Hopes for Final Relief Following the Arrest
With the news of Harry Boxer's arrest now public, the family is hopeful that the constant police visits and interrogations will finally diminish. Through the media, the relatives appealed to the police and administration to refrain from troubling an innocent family and young children on account of one individual's alleged misdeeds. They emphasized that other members of the household have zero involvement in the criminal underworld and simply wish to lead ordinary, peaceful lives. The family's core demand is that while legal proceedings and police investigations should continue independently, their innocent household members should no longer be subjected to repeated and unnecessary harassment.
