A large-scale cultural outreach initiative designed to present administrative achievements directly to local communities is rolling out across Rajasthan. Operating under the banner of a campaign celebrating 25 years of public service, the state will host an extensive series of 1,200 street theatre performances over a four-day schedule. Running from October 10 through October 13, the mobile theatrical drive aims to connect directly with the public through localized dramatic storytelling, highlighting milestones and policy achievements across different regions.
Mobilisation of Fifty Troupes and Three Hundred Performers
Organised around the theme of untold personal and administrative narratives, the operational logistics have been entrusted to 50 dedicated performance groups. Each individual troupe consists of 6 actors tasked with staging dynamic open-air presentations. Every squad will deliver 6 separate performances each day, ensuring wide geographic coverage across public squares and community centres to bring lesser-known accounts of governance directly to residents.
Strategic Deliberations Ahead of Rural Local Body Polls
Alongside the cultural push, political preparations for the upcoming panchayat elections are advancing rapidly. At 11:30 AM today, the BJP headquarters in Jaipur serves as the venue for a critical strategy meeting of the party's OBC Morcha. Attended by the front's national president, Amar Pal Maurya, the session focuses primarily on evaluating grass-roots outreach, defining the organizational role of backward classes in the electoral contest, and finalizing key campaign directives for rural voting districts.
