Renowned worldwide for its exquisite craftsmanship and vibrant gemstone trade, Jaipur continues to anchor India as a premier destination for fine jewellery. The city's master artisans, expansive wholesale markets, and dedicated merchant community have consistently driven its status as an international jewellery capital. Building on this legacy and seeking to elevate Rajasthan's silver manufacturing sector across domestic and overseas markets, the Jaipur Silver Association is organising a three-day dedicated silver trade exhibition at the Birla Auditorium from November 22 to 24. The initiative aims to provide commercial momentum to local silversmiths while connecting regional manufacturers directly with prominent buyers.
Extensive Preparations and National Outreach
Leadership within the Jaipur Silver Association is actively coordinating arrangements across major commercial hubs to ensure extensive industry representation. Association chairman Ujjwal Derewala and secretary Rahul Jain recently visited Mumbai to meet Kiritbhai Bhansali, chairman of GJEPC. During their meeting, they extended a formal invitation to Bhansali to attend the November 22 to 24 event as the chief guest, while reviewing overall preparations and discussing the influx of manufacturers, wholesalers, and retail buyers arriving from across India. The advisory head of the Jaipur Silver Association, Ankit Vaidya, was present at the discussions alongside Mumbai-based representatives Abhishek Shah, Sanjay Agarwal, and Shripal Nahar. Welcoming the initiative, Bhansali assured full institutional support, highlighting that close coordination with GJEPC will assist silver jewellery makers in accessing lucrative overseas markets.
Scale of the Showcase: Over 300 Stalls and Broad Industry Attendance
Having evolved into a trusted commercial junction for both business-to-business and direct retail transactions, the annual showcase continues to expand its physical footprint. This edition will host more than 170 exhibitors operating across upwards of 300 display stalls. Event organisers project over 10,000 national and international buyers and trade visitors throughout the three-day duration, with pre-registrations already crossing the 2,000 mark. To maximise commercial turnout, dedicated promotional roadshows and business meetings are underway in major commercial centres across the country.
Diverse Design Collections and Artisanal Mastery
Visitors and trade delegations attending the exhibition will encounter an extensive assortment of traditional and contemporary silver creations. The displays will spotlight oxidised silver collections, gemstone jewellery set with cut stones, heritage silver artefacts, elaborate handcrafted sofa sets, and mixed-metal ornamental items. The platform presents a prime venue for retailers, volume wholesalers, and private collectors to explore novel design trends while engaging directly with the master craftsmen responsible for their creation.
Special Export Seminar to Boost International Trade
A central feature of this year's programme is an exclusive technical seminar dedicated to cross-border jewellery exports. The educational session will brief domestic silver manufacturers on identifying overseas market potential, leveraging export promotion schemes, and improving the positioning of Indian silver products on global retail shelves. Designers, wholesale traders, and manufacturers travelling from major jewellery hubs, including Gujarat, Mumbai, and Delhi, will converge at the auditorium. Designed to unify domestic merchants on a single transactional floor, the seminar reinforces Jaipur's standing as a principal global powerhouse for silver jewellery manufacturing and trade.
