Even so, large numbers of residents stepped out of their homes to enjoy the rain. People were seen soaking in the pleasant weather at parks and crossroads, with several families bringing their children along to enjoy the showers.
More showers expected in the coming hours
According to the meteorological department, light to moderate showers are likely to continue in Bundi city for a few more hours. The department said this should help keep the temperature cooler, offering residents continued relief from the humid heat for now.
