Former Member of Parliament and Alwar election in-charge Ramcharan Bohra unveiled the document during a press conference, stating that the party's ultimate goal is to transform Alwar into a clean, healthy, and well-managed city. The blueprint covers a wide range of civic issues, from basic infrastructure, drinking water supply, and traffic management to healthcare, sports facilities, tourism promotion, solid waste management, and digital citizen services. Bohra emphasized that the projects and promises listed in the document will be implemented on the ground on a priority basis to benefit local residents.
Chief Minister's Roadshow Planned
To galvanize support ahead of the polls, the party has organized a high-profile visit by the Chief Minister. Ramcharan Bohra announced that the Chief Minister will kick off a massive roadshow starting at 11:30 AM tomorrow from the ancient Jagannath Temple, culminating at Manni Ka Bar. Local BJP cadres have made grand arrangements to welcome the leader along the entire route. The party believes this event will swing public sentiment in its favour and bring development issues to the forefront of the electoral discourse. Organizers have claimed that a large gathering of citizens and party workers will participate to showcase strong grassroots backing.
Focus on Sanitation, Sewerage, and Water Supply
Sanitation and core urban infrastructure occupy a central position in the newly released vision document. Plans have been laid out to strengthen garbage collection across all municipal wards, alongside the construction and repair of drainage systems, sewerage lines, roads, and side drains. To improve the urban canopy and aesthetics, the development of green parks has been prioritized. Furthermore, an integrated solid waste management scheme has been incorporated into the agenda, with administrative and financial approvals already secured. To resolve persistent water scarcity, the party plans to advance the Ram Setu link project. Additionally, work orders worth twenty-five crore rupees for upgrading the drinking water network were issued on August 17, 2026, and execution is currently underway.
Healthcare, Public Transport, and Railway Redevelopment
To streamline public transportation and ease commuting, a brand-new bus stand is proposed to be built at an estimated cost of sixty crore rupees, alongside initiatives to strengthen road safety, traffic management, and parking facilities. The redevelopment of the Alwar railway station is already progressing rapidly with an investment exceeding one hundred eleven crore rupees. In the healthcare sector, a proposal to construct a new pediatric hospital worth eight crore rupees has been forwarded to the state government. Meanwhile, the development of a synthetic track at the Indira Gandhi Stadium to promote sporting talent is on track for completion by October 2026.
Heritage Tourism and Digital Governance
To leverage Alwar's rich historical legacy for tourism growth, special heritage walks and developmental projects are planned around Bala Kasa, City Palace, Sagar, and older parts of the city. To ensure swift resolution of municipal grievances, digital platforms will be launched, and a citizen facilitation center will be set up in every ward. BJP representatives assured that elected ward councilors will maintain regular office hours to listen to public grievances and expedite solutions. Bohra expressed confidence that this comprehensive roadmap will secure a resounding victory for the party in the civic polls.
Update on Long-Pending Sanitation Worker Recruitment
In a separate development concerning administrative appointments, Alwar City MLA and Cabinet Minister Sanjay Sharma addressed the long-pending recruitment of 329 sanitation workers, which has been stalled since 2012. Sharma stated that candidates who have awaited employment for over a decade can finally expect relief. He noted that the Rajasthan High Court ruled in favor of the applicants back in 2019, directing the municipal corporation to review applications and grant appointments to eligible candidates as per rules, though bureaucratic hurdles delayed the process for years.

Sanjay Sharma highlighted that he raised this pressing issue prominently on the floor of the legislative assembly and formally wrote to the Chief Minister and Autonomous Governance Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, demanding immediate action to resume the recruitment process.
