During the holy month of Sawan, various temples in Udaipur are witnessing unique and divine decorations of Lord Shiva in different forms. Continuing this tradition, a special and unique submerged decoration of Lord Shiva was organized at the renowned Rameshwar Mahadev Temple located in the Ramagiri area of the city. Inside the temple, water was filled around the shivling, placing it about halfway submerged in water. This form of Lord Shiva amidst water has become a major center of attraction for the devotees visiting the temple.
Special arrangements were put in place to ensure that the continuous water abhishek on the shivling remains uninterrupted. The continuous stream of water falling on the water-surrounded shivling and the surrounding decorations made the entire view extremely enchanting. Additionally, special lighting was installed within the temple premises, which enhanced the divine glow and beauty of Baba Rameshwar Mahadev sitting in the submerged form.
A large number of devotees reached the temple to have the divine darshan of this unique decoration of Lord Shiva. Devotees had darshan of Baba Rameshwar Mahadev in the submerged form, performed rituals, and prayed for the happiness and prosperity of their families. During this time, the temple premises kept echoing with chants of Har Har Mahadev and Bam Bam Bhole. A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the devotees regarding this special form of Lord Shiva. After this special decoration organized by the Rameshwar Mahadev Mitra Mandal, a grand maharati of Lord Bholenath was also performed. A large number of devotees were present during the aarti, and everyone sought the blessings of Lord Shiva in a deeply devotional atmosphere.
Throughout the entire month of Sawan, special decorations of different forms of Lord Shiva are organized at the Rameshwar Mahadev Temple, offering something distinct and special to devotees every time. Earlier, decorations representing the Amarnath Dham tableau and the famous Bhasma Aarti of Ujjain Mahakal also served as major attractions for devotees at the temple. This time, through the submerged decoration, the water form of Lord Shiva has been presented in a special way. The shivling seated amidst water, continuous abhishek, attractive lighting, and temple decorations provided devotees with a unique visual experience alongside devotion. This unique event at the Rameshwar Mahadev Temple during Sawan has become a major topic of discussion across the city.
