Vivo has officially launched its latest premium wireless earbuds, the TWS 5 Pro, in China. Priced at 999 Chinese yuan, which works out to approximately Rs 13,000, the earbuds are currently available in two color options: Silent Realm Black and Original Soundtrack. Vivo says the earbuds can deliver a total battery backup of up to 50 hours when used with the charging case.
Hi-Fi Audio Quality and Multiple Sound Modes
At the core of the TWS 5 Pro's audio setup is an 11mm dual-driver unit that covers a frequency range from 16Hz to 60kHz. A Hi-Fi DAC chip and a 113dB dynamic range work alongside this driver to produce detailed, high-fidelity sound. Spatial Audio support is also built in for a more immersive listening experience.
Users can pick from six sound modes depending on their content: Standard, Deep Bass, Clear Vocal, Bright Treble, Audiobook, and Ultimate Mastery. Each mode is tuned for a specific listening scenario, giving flexibility across music, gaming, calls and spoken-word audio.
60dB ANC Backed by Five Microphones
The TWS 5 Pro supports up to 60dB of Active Noise Cancellation. To achieve this, the earbuds are fitted with four microphones along with a bone conduction microphone. This five-microphone arrangement handles both deep noise cancellation during regular use and improved voice clarity during calls.
Low-Latency Gaming Mode and Bluetooth 5.4
Gamers will find a dedicated low-latency mode at 42ms, keeping audio tightly aligned with on-screen action. Connectivity runs on Bluetooth 5.4, and the earbuds can simultaneously stay connected to three devices at once.
Battery Life and Additional Features
Each earbud houses a 56mAh battery, while the charging case carries a 615mAh cell. With ANC switched off, the earbuds alone run for up to 11 hours on a single charge. Factor in the charging case and total battery endurance climbs to 50 hours.
The TWS 5 Pro also carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, charges over USB Type-C, and includes touch controls, wear detection, and Vivo BlueOS integration. As of now, Vivo has not announced any plans for a global or India launch of these earbuds.
