Shri Kalki Dham Peethadhishwar Acharya Pramod Krishnam, based in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, has received direct death threats from an individual identified as Kulbeer Singh Sidhu. The threats were delivered through two separate audio calls. According to available details, the accused is associated with the terrorist outfit Babbar Khalsa International, a group whose network extends across several states, including Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Addressing a press conference following the incident, Acharya Pramod Krishnam stated that his work will not be deterred by these threats and that he will continue performing his duties as usual.
Pramod Krishnam Highlights Hindu-Sikh Unity
During his interaction with the media, Acharya Pramod Krishnam emphasized that his entire life is dedicated to the construction and establishment of Shri Kalki Dham. Given the sensitivity of the threats, he felt it was his duty to inform the country, specifically addressing millions of Hindu and Sikh brothers across the nation. He remarked that Sikhs and Hindus share a common bond, describing Sikhs as the crown jewels of Hindus and expressing deep reverence for Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, stating that he views them as children of the same mother.
Appeal to Government Over Kalki Dham Trust
The Kalki Dham Peethadhishwar further added that rituals and worship dedicated to Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj will be conducted at Shri Kalki Dham with the same devotion as those for Lord Kalki. Highlighting his vision for the temple, he stated that if he faces martyrdom, he urges the Government of India to officially take over the Kalki Dham Trust and ensure the completion of the temple's construction. He reiterated his firm desire and expectation that alongside Lord Kalki, figures such as Lord Mahavir, Lord Buddha, and Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj must be accorded equal and due respect within the shrine.

Elaborating on how the threats were received, Acharya Pramod Krishnam noted that he had been receiving calls from international and untraceable numbers over the past few days, which he usually ignored to avoid unnecessary stress. However, after receiving an audio message a couple of days prior, where the speaker used the Punjabi language and identified himself as Kulbeer Singh Sidhu, he decided to take formal action. He has shared the audio recording and the contact details with the Uttar Pradesh Police, the Punjab Police, and the Union Ministry of Home Affairs via email.
Bomb Threats and Concerns Over Anti-National Elements
The Kalki Dham Peethadhishwar revealed that the audio messages contained explicit threats to blow him up using a bomb or a rocket launcher. He expressed apprehension that certain anti-national elements are attempting to divide the country by driving a wedge between Hindus and Sikhs, noting that historical facts prove both communities are intrinsically linked. He concluded by maintaining that attempts to separate the two communities will not succeed in undermining their shared heritage.
