A tragic road accident in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday evening claimed the lives of five individuals after two motorcycles collided head-on with a state roadways bus. The devastating crash, which occurred within the jurisdiction of the Budhana police station area, resulted in three people dying instantly at the scene, including a toddler. Two other injured individuals succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital, plunging multiple families into profound grief.
The collision near Bhaisana village
The fatal incident took place near Bhaisana village in the Budhana region. According to available details, five people traveling on two separate motorcycles were heading from Muzaffarnagar towards Budhana. At the same time, a roadways bus belonging to the Baraut depot approaching from the opposite direction crashed into them. Initial investigations conducted by the local police suggest that the accident occurred while one of the vehicles was attempting an overtake. The impact of the collision was so severe that the motorcycles were mangled and the riders were thrown onto the asphalt.
Immediate fatalities and hospital deaths
Three people lost their lives at the very spot of the collision. The deceased were identified as Momin, Farman, and a young girl named Bhallo, who was roughly two and a half to three years old. Idrish and Sajid sustained critical injuries in the crash. Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene promptly and rushed both injured men to a hospital for urgent medical care. However, despite medical efforts, both Idrish and Sajid passed away during treatment, bringing the total death toll from the accident to five.
