A tragic incident has surfaced from Samvilian Vidyalaya Sahaupur, located in the Bharkhani block of Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh, where Class 8 student Kshama Dixit passed away while undergoing medical treatment. The victim's father, Umesh Dixit, has alleged that a primary school assistant teacher severely assaulted his daughter inside the school premises. The tragic demise of the young girl has sparked immense outrage among family members and local residents, prompting administrative and police investigations.
Assault Alleged Following Dispute Complaint
According to reports detailing the incident, Kshama Dixit had a minor dispute with one of her classmates inside the school. Seeking resolution, Kshama approached assistant teacher Rajendra Kumar Gangwar to report the issue. However, it is alleged that instead of addressing the matter constructively, Gangwar reacted aggressively and physically assaulted the young student. The assault reportedly left Kshama with a fractured arm. Family members stated that when her father arrived at the school after learning about the incident, the teacher assured him that the school would arrange appropriate medical treatment. However, the school management subsequently ignored her failing health and failed to follow up on her condition.
Hospitalized on August 26, Succumbed on August 30
As the girl's physical condition deteriorated sharply over the following days, her family rushed her to a hospital in the neighboring district of Farrukhabad on August 26. Despite extensive medical care provided by the hospital staff, her condition continued to worsen, and she succumbed to her injuries during treatment on August 30. Prior to her death, a video was recorded in which Kshama could be seen describing the assault and recounting her pain. The video surfaced online soon after her passing, creating shockwaves across the region and putting pressure on local authorities to take swift action.
Education Department Inspection and Suspensions
Recognizing the severity of the matter, Block Education Officer Dr. Sunil Singh visited the Sahaupur school campus to conduct an on-spot inquiry. Following initial findings by the department, official administrative action was initiated immediately. The education department placed both the school in-charge teacher, Akshat, and the accused assistant teacher, Rajendra Kumar Gangwar, under immediate suspension. Departmental officials indicated that further stringent disciplinary measures would follow based on the final inquiry report.
Police Complaint Filed as Authorities Await Autopsy
Following his daughter's demise, Umesh Dixit submitted a formal written complaint to the police, seeking the registration of a criminal case against the accused teacher and demanding maximum punishment. The grieving father has urged authorities to record official statements from fellow students and staff present on the day of the incident, alongside examining all hospital records and medical documentation. Police officials confirmed that a post-mortem examination was conducted in Farrukhabad and that they are currently awaiting the official autopsy report. Law enforcement authorities assured that strict legal proceedings will be executed strictly in accordance with statutory guidelines based on forensic and medical evidence.
