Two-Year Old Dispute over Local Dominance
According to local residents and eyewitnesses, the seeds of this hostility were sown nearly two years ago during a verbal altercation inside a gym. Since that incident, tensions had been simmering between the two groups over establishing local dominance in the area. Victims alleged that the family members and sons of former village head Amarpal intercepted them on the road, initiated a verbal dispute, and suddenly brandished illegal pistols, firing shots indiscriminately. Three Persons Injured and Sent to Higher Medical Facility
The indiscriminate gunfire and heavy stone-pelting left three individuals severely injured, identified as Munesh (a woman), Golu, and Bunty. The immediate aftermath left village streets scattered with bricks and stones, while responding police personnel recovered empty cartridge shells from the crime scene.
