Caught at Alina City Mod on July 13
The joint police team nabbed both accused on July 13 from Alina City Mod within the limits of Kareli police station. During questioning, Arman and Aamir revealed that they are close friends of a man named Raja Ali.
A Broken Marriage Sparked the Anger
Investigators found that Raja Ali had married Gausiya, daughter of Najma Begum, but Gausiya had left him. Angered by this, Raja Ali wanted to take revenge on his in-laws. He shared his entire plan with Arman and Aamir and drew them into the conspiracy.
Riding One Bike to the In-Laws' House
According to police, on the day of the incident, Raja Ali, Arman and Aamir rode together on a single motorbike to Raja Ali's in-laws' house, number A-338/3, in GTB Nagar. Raja Ali threw the first bomb at the house, after which Arman and Aamir also each hurled a bomb.
Threat to Kill the Children
After the bombing, all three hurled abuses at Raja Ali's in-laws. They threatened that Gausiya should be sent back to Raja Ali soon, or else the children would be killed. The three then fled the scene.
Main Accused Raja Ali Still on the Run
Following the incident, Raja Ali fled on a separate train, while Arman and Aamir were also preparing to escape the city. The two had even booked train tickets to Mumbai, but police arrested them from Alina City Mod before they could leave. Both accused have been sent to jail, while several police teams are now searching for the main accused, Raja Ali.
