On Tuesday morning, the body of a tribal housewife was found lying in a field near the Talit Canalpara area, which falls under Debandighi police station. Residents who were near the field early that morning were stunned when they spotted the body, and word of the discovery spread quickly, triggering panic across the area. Without wasting any time, locals alerted the police, and a mood of fear and anger soon took over the neighbourhood.

As soon as they received the information, a team from Debandighi police station rushed to the spot, recovered the body and launched an investigation. Officers are now trying to establish whether the woman was murdered or died due to some other cause. Brother's serious allegation
Meanwhile, the deceased woman's brother has come forward publicly with a grave claim, alleging that his sister was raped before being killed. However, as of this report, the family had not filed any written complaint with the police over the allegation, meaning it currently stands only as the brother's statement to the media. A student's body also recovered from a pond in Bengaluru
In a separate case, a shocking incident has emerged from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. The body of a 20 year old student was recovered from Sankey Tank, located within the limits of Sadashivanagar police station. Police identified the deceased as Teju, a resident of Chikkabanavara. Investigators currently suspect this could be a case of suicide and are examining the case closely.
Final messages sent to boyfriend and mother
An initial police investigation found that Teju had allegedly sent a message to her boyfriend before the incident, indicating that she intended to end her life. She had also sent a message to her mother shortly before that. When police reviewed CCTV footage, it confirmed that she had reached the pond entirely alone. A guard keeping watch over the tank spotted the body floating in the water and immediately called the police, who then reached the spot.
