A fresh incident of violence against minorities has emerged from Pakistan's troubled Balochistan province, where unidentified armed attackers shot and killed a Hindu businessman in broad daylight inside his own shop. The Attack at Kasirabad Stop in Nushki Bazaar
The incident took place in the Nushki town of Balochistan province, specifically at the Kasirabad Stop within the bustling Nushki Bazaar. While the market was seeing normal daily activity, armed assailants suddenly moved in to execute the attack. The victim has been identified as Rakesh Kumar, a Hindu businessman who was earning an honest living for his family by running a shop in the same market. According to local police information, the armed unknown attackers forced their way directly inside Rakesh Kumar's shop.
Brutal Firing Claimed the Victim on the Spot
Realizing the malicious intentions of the intruders, Rakesh Kumar showed courage and put up resistance. Instead of backing down, the attackers opened indiscriminate fire on him. The gunshots echoed through the market, causing panic among everyone present. Rakesh Kumar was given no chance to defend himself and succumbed to his bullet injuries on the spot. After executing the crime, the armed suspects managed to escape easily from the area. Police later took the body into custody, shifted it to the district hospital, and registered a case against the unknown attackers to launch a formal investigation.

News of this cowardly attack quickly triggered widespread outrage across Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Gurpal Singh, a prominent Sikh leader and member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Assembly, strongly condemned the brutal murder. Describing the attack as a cowardly act by anti-state and anti-Balochistan elements, Singh stated that the Hindu community has been an integral part of Balochistan for centuries and has consistently proven its loyalty and contribution to Pakistan and Balochistan.
