A shocking and tragic incident has emerged from Pakistan, where 28-year-old Shamsu Bibi, widely recognized by her social media moniker Ayesha Gilmena, was shot dead in a brutal attack. The digital content creator enjoyed a massive following online. The incident took place on August 14 in the city of Taxila, located near Islamabad. The attackers specifically targeted her car and opened fire, sending shockwaves through the area. Her 15-year-old younger sister was also seriously injured in the violent assault. Local police have launched a full-scale investigation into the matter.
A Fateful Phone Call Before Heading Out
Following the tragedy, a formal complaint was lodged by the victim's family with local law enforcement. According to the complaint, shortly before the incident occurred, Ayesha received a phone call from an individual named Kashif, also known as 'Kashi'. It is alleged that the caller insisted she come outside her home immediately. Following this call, she stepped out in a car alongside her 15-year-old sister Asema and brother Naimatullah. Shortly after the siblings departed from the house, the family received word about the shooting. Her father, Fazal Sahibzada, rushed to the THQ hospital in Taxila, where he identified his daughter's body.
Assailants on Motorcycles Opened Fire on the Vehicle
The family's complaint, citing Naimatullah, details that near a petrol pump, two unknown individuals riding a motorcycle began tailing their car and subsequently opened fire. Both attackers were estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old. During the shooting, a bullet struck Ayesha directly in the neck, causing her death on the spot. Following the gunfire, the person driving the car lost control, and the vehicle collided with another car ahead. This secondary collision and the attack left Ayesha's younger sister Asema with severe injuries.
CCTV Footage Provides Crucial Clues to Investigators
In the wake of the violent episode, police secured a vital piece of evidence through CCTV footage. Reports indicate that the camera captured two suspect attackers fleeing the crime scene on a motorcycle. Authorities are currently utilizing this footage to identify the culprits and uncover the underlying motive behind the murder.
Prior Threats and Financial Disputes Highlighted
In his official complaint, the victim's father also mentioned an ongoing dispute regarding financial transactions involving certain individuals. He accused people named Kausar and Javed, also known as 'Shaheen', of exerting pressure and issuing threats over the return of money. According to the family, Ayesha had previously filed a complaint regarding this issue in Islamabad.
