A tense situation unfolded in Titu Colony, located within the Kheri Pul police station jurisdiction in Faridabad, Haryana, following the discovery of a tenth-grade student's body hanging inside the residence of his female classmate. The suspicious circumstances surrounding the teenager's demise sparked widespread unrest in the neighborhood. Aggrieved family members of the deceased boy leveled serious allegations, asserting that the girl's relatives summoned him to their home, subjected him to severe physical assault, and subsequently murdered him before staging it as a hanging.
Violent Outcry and Vandalism of Ambulance
As news of the student's death spread across the area, agitated relatives and local residents gathered in large numbers. The gathering quickly escalated into a violent protest, during which members of the angry crowd scuffled with and physically assaulted police officers and the Crime Branch personnel who arrived at the scene. The unrest intensified further when an ambulance arrived to retrieve the body for formal procedures. Protesters unleashed heavy vandalism on the vehicle, shattering its parts and forcing the driver to flee on foot to escape harm. Several police personnel sustained injuries during the physical confrontation with the crowd.
Parents Allege Conspiracy and Brutal Attack
The teenager's father, Bhushan Choudhary, who works as a driver and originally hails from Bihar, shared that he is the father of five children. He stated that his son was called over by the girl's family and subsequently killed before being hanged. He emphasized that the boy's body was discovered inside the very house of the accused party, maintaining that the girl and her mother were responsible for calling him there.
The deceased boy's mother, Pushpa, detailed that she had sent her son to a godown earlier in the day. According to her, she received information that fair-complexioned young men took her son from the godown, after which his body was located inside the classmate's residence. Pushpa firmly alleged that her son was beaten to death and then strung up on the noose, noting that the girl remained completely unharmed. She also claimed that police personnel engaged in physical altercations with her during the ensuing chaos at the site.
Heavy Police Deployment and Ongoing Legal Action
Taking into account the extreme sensitivity of the case and the escalating communal agitation, Assistant Commissioner of Police Rajiv Kumar led a substantial police contingent to the locality to restore order. Ambulance driver Mahfooz recalled that the moment he arrived to collect the mortal remains, the gathering launched a sudden assault on the vehicle, leaving him with no choice but to run away to save his life.
ACP Rajiv Kumar confirmed that the agitated gathering attacked the responding police personnel and vandalized the arriving ambulance. Authorities have officially registered a case and initiated an exhaustive investigation into all aspects of the teenager's death as well as the subsequent violence. ACP Rajiv stated that strict legal proceedings will follow based on physical evidence, forensic findings, and eyewitness statements. A heavy contingent of law enforcement officers remains stationed across the area to preserve law and order.
