The Konark is being made available across six distinct variants under the S and Z product lines, offering an impressive IDC range of up to 200 kilometers on a single charge. Setting an aggressive entry point, the company has priced the base model of this new scooter at Rs 79,999. Furthermore, the Konark features a scheduled service interval of 10,000 kilometers or approximately one year, whichever comes first, proving to be highly convenient for regular riders.

All variants of the Konark come equipped with Ather's fifth-generation Bedrock battery architecture, ensuring reliable long-term performance. Along with the vehicle, the company is extending a comprehensive 10-year or 1,00,000-kilometer battery warranty, whichever comes first, accompanied by a 70 percent health guarantee. To optimize day-to-day riding safety and convenience, the scooter incorporates several sophisticated technologies, prominently featuring a newly developed Advanced Electronic Braking System known as AeBS, Magic-Key, AutoPop, and AirWalk. Developed entirely in-house, Ather's AeBS dynamically adjusts the braking force between the front and rear wheels based on real-time road conditions. Additionally, it utilizes regenerative braking mechanics to enhance overall stopping performance and vehicle stability.
Smart Features Like AirWalk and Magic-Key Simplify Parking
The integration of the Magic-Key feature delivers a seamless keyless experience, supporting smart-wake capabilities, automatic locking, and remote scooter location tracking. Meanwhile, the AutoPop mechanism allows riders to effortlessly access the under-seat storage compartment without needing manual intervention. In tight parking situations or cramped urban spaces, the AirWalk feature utilizes light motor torque to help maneuver and push the scooter manually, making parking significantly easier. The Konark ships with an integrated onboard charger and matching charging cable. For faster replenishment, customers can opt for an additional 450W offboard charger to combine with the built-in 450W unit, achieving a combined charging power of 900W that cuts home charging times right in half. Notably, this marks Ather's very first scooter to incorporate metal panels at the rear alongside a robust steel unibody chassis. Additionally, its sequential gear-drive transmission delivers exceptionally smooth and silent power delivery on the move.
