A serious incident has come to light from Delhi University where a female student faced harassment and molestation. Taking swift action in the matter, the local police have apprehended two law students. However, the primary suspect behind the entire episode is still untraceable, and authorities are conducting raids to nab him. During the interrogation, it emerged that all the individuals involved were heavily intoxicated at the time of the incident and targeted the victim while passing by.
Dispute Began Over Comments on Attire
According to available details, the victimized student was walking near Haqikat Park along with her friend. At that moment, a car passed by carrying youths, and a student named Naman allegedly made inappropriate remarks about the student's clothing. The victim was wearing a red T-shirt that featured the text Urban Mindset, which prompted the initial verbal exchange and escalated the tension between the two sides.
Accused Fled After Video Recording Started
When the youths inside the car made objectionable comments, a heated argument broke out between the student and the car occupants. Realizing the situation and attempting to document the harassment, the victim pulled out her mobile phone to record a video of the culprits. Fearing identification upon seeing the camera rolling, the accused panicked and sped away from the location in their vehicle.
First-Year Students of Law Faculty
Initial police investigations revealed that all three accused are first-year students at the Delhi University Law Faculty. The two arrested individuals hail originally from the state of Bihar. Among them, one resides in Kamla Nagar, while the other stays on rent in the Vijay Nagar locality.
Consumption of Alcohol Claimed and Upcoming Court Presentation
During police questioning, the arrested duo confessed that they, along with their absconding companion Naman, had consumed alcohol on the day of the incident. This information is currently based on the statements given by the accused to the authorities. According to police sources, the two arrested individuals are likely to be produced before a court tomorrow afternoon for further legal proceedings.

The primary suspect, Naman, who was driving the vehicle during the occurrence, remains outside police custody. Delhi Police are actively conducting raids across potential hideouts to ensure his prompt apprehension and bring all culprits to justice under the law.
