Securing the benchmark position with significant distance from rivals, Hero Splendor recorded dispatches of 3,53,842 units in August 2026. In comparison to the 3,11,698 units delivered during August 2025, the motorcycle gained an absolute volume expansion of 42,144 units. This translates to an annualized growth rate of 13.52%, enabling the long-standing commuter nameplate to control an impressive 26.64% of the entire two-wheeler space. Third place went to Honda Shine, which closed August 2026 with total deliveries of 1,80,626 units. TVS Jupiter captured fourth rank with dispatches reaching 1,47,450 units. The scooter increased its volume by 5,039 units over the 1,42,411 units registered in August 2025, translating into a 3.54% annual increase. Carrying an 11.10% total market slice, customer traction remained consistent on the back of spacious ergonomics, competitive fuel returns, and useful convenience hardware.

Bajaj Pulsar finished in fifth position with total deliveries of 97,839 units for August 2026. Capturing 3.93% of the total two-wheeler market, its durable metal construction, competitive real-world range, and escalating electric vehicle adoption accelerated its upward trajectory.

Rounding out the top ten was TVS XL 100, which posted 45,936 units. Showing steady growth over the 43,886 units recorded in August 2025, it added 2,050 units, reflecting a 4.67% annual rise and a 3.46% market share.
