The Hero Xoom 160 is already present in the market with an ex-showroom price ranging roughly between 1.43 lakh and 1.49 lakh rupees. Meanwhile, the Honda ADV 160 has been recently unveiled and is scheduled for a market launch around September 2026, with an expected price bracket of 1.50 lakh to 1.60 lakh rupees.
Design and Build Quality
Both scooters adopt a rugged adventure-style theme. The Honda ADV 160 comes equipped with a height-adjustable windscreen, twin LED headlamps, block-pattern tires, and a sturdy spine design. It features a seat height of 780 mm and a ground clearance of 165 mm, making it well-suited for local road conditions, with a total weight of 133 kg. On the other hand, the Hero Xoom 160 also boasts a high stance, dual-chamber LED headlights, and 14-inch wheels on both ends. Its specifications include a 787 mm seat height, 155 mm ground clearance, and a weight of 142 kg, positioning the Honda as slightly lighter and more off-road friendly.

In terms of amenities, both two-wheelers offer a host of modern technological integrations. The Honda model features a 5-inch TFT display, Honda RoadSync connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, USB charging, keyless ignition, an idle stop-start system, and an under-seat storage capacity of roughly 27 to 30 liters. In comparison, the Hero scooter offers a digital LCD cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, keyless ignition, remote boot opening, i3S technology, and a USB port. The inclusion of a TFT screen and traction control gives the Honda variant a more premium edge.
