In a significant administrative development for the state, the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has officially published the written results for the State Service Main Examination 2025. According to the official press release issued by the authorities, this recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 265 vacancies spread across 20 distinct administrative services under the state government. Based on the performance in the main written examination, the commission has provisionally declared a total of 608 candidates successful for the upcoming interview stage.
Timeline of Recruitment and Notifications
The entire recruitment process commenced with advertisement number 06/2025/Exam. This foundational notification was issued on November 26, 2025, and subsequently published on December 3, 2025. Following the initial release, certain modifications were introduced into the notification framework through corrigendum number 05/2025/Exam dated December 3, 2025, and corrigendum number 06/2025/Exam dated December 12, 2025, ensuring all administrative criteria were properly aligned.
From Prelims to the Main Examination
Following the preliminary notification stage, the State Service Preliminary Examination 2025 was conducted. The results of the preliminary screening shortlisted a total of 3,921 candidates who advanced to take the main examination. These qualified aspirants appeared for the main tests which were successfully held on June 6, 7, 8, and 9, 2026. After evaluating the answer sheets based on category-wise minimum qualifying marks, the commission shortlisted 608 individuals for the interview phase.
Document Verification and Post Preference Guidelines
The interview schedule for the successful candidates is tentatively scheduled to begin on September 21, 2026. A detailed date-wise timetable for these interviews will be released separately on the official portal. Furthermore, all qualified aspirants must complete the original document verification process exactly one day prior to their scheduled interview date. Candidates are required to visit the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission office in person for this verification, and failure to complete it on the preceding day will result in disqualification from the interview. Additionally, candidates must submit their online post preferences through the commission website www.psc.cg.gov.in where a link will be provided soon, with specific dates for preference submission to be announced separately.
