Eligibility for Primary and Upper Primary Level Teachers

Additional Chief Secretary of Basic and Secondary Education Parth Sarathi Sen Sharma elaborated on the eligibility framework, stating that for the primary level, institutions run by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board, local bodies, and schools granted recognition or affiliation by the state government or basic education board from time to time will be included. Furthermore, state-aided schools and special educators teaching at the primary level from classes 1 to 5 are eligible. Similarly, for the upper primary level, teachers working in basic education board schools, local bodies, recognized institutions, state-aided schools, and special educators teaching classes 6 to 8 are eligible to apply.
