The Bharatiya Janata Party has stepped up its political outreach across the country to counter criticism from opposition parties with an aggressive mass-contact program. As part of this push, BJP National President Nitin Nabin will lead a large padayatra on Sunday in Rohtak, considered a key political hub in Haryana. The demonstration is being organized under the party's nationwide campaign titled 'Loktantra Bachao, Arajakta Hatao', aimed at consolidating support and challenging the narratives set by opposition groups. Thousands of party workers and senior leaders are expected to gather at the Chhotu Ram Polytechnic Ground to participate in the march.
March Route and Schedule of the Event
The operational layout and schedule for the campaign march have been finalized for the city. The padayatra will commence at 11 am on Sunday from the well-known Chhotu Ram Polytechnic Ground in Rohtak. The rally will pass through several prominent city streets and thoroughfares before concluding at D-Park located in Model Town.
At the culmination of the march at D-Park, BJP National President Nitin Nabin will pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi by garlanding his statue. A large contingent of senior leadership will accompany the procession, including the Haryana Chief Minister, the state party president, cabinet ministers, Members of Parliament, MLAs, thousands of party workers, and local residents.
Political Messaging Aimed at Opposition
The party has asserted that rival political groups are misleading the public and spreading misinformation for partisan interests, fostering an atmosphere of disorder in society. The nationwide program has been specifically mounted to push back against these claims and engage directly with the electorate.
Party workers are conducting door-to-door and village-level outreach to challenge the opposition's political claims while presenting the actual facts of government policies. Given Rohtak's reputation as a vital political core in Haryana politics, having BJP National President Nitin Nabin directly steer this padayatra serves as a pointed signal to the opposition. The scheduled mobilization has generated substantial energy among ground-level party cadres.
