A harrowing incident has emerged from the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, where three schoolgirls lost their lives after being bitten by a venomous snake inside the hostel of a private aided residential ashram school. This distressing event has left local residents and family members in deep grief, sparking widespread panic and concern throughout the entire region.
Incident at Japatlai Village in Dhanora Taluka
The tragic accident took place at the residential school ashram hostel operated by the Kumparlingo Cultural Educational Research Society in Japatlai village, located within the Dhanora Taluka of Gadchiroli district. Around 2:30 in the night, while all the students were fast asleep in their shared room, a venomous snake crept inside and targeted six schoolgirls one after another.
Three Students Succumb During Medical Treatment
Immediate panic ensued in the hostel following the snake bites, and all six affected students were swiftly rushed to a hospital for urgent medical care. Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, three of the schoolgirls could not be saved and passed away while undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, the remaining three surviving students are reported to be in critical condition as their medical treatment continues. This sudden tragedy has plunged the families of the victims into profound sorrow, leaving an atmosphere of mourning across the entire campus.
