Enterprise technology startup RapidCanvas has secured 29 million dollars, equivalent to approximately Rs 275 crore, in its latest Series B financing round. The capital infusion was spearheaded by Vertex Ventures SEA and India. With this newly acquired investment, the total funding raised by the enterprise solutions provider since inception has reached 52.5 million dollars. A substantial portion of the company's workforce is stationed in India, making this expansion significant for regional tech operations.
Participation from Leading Venture Capitalists
Alongside Vertex Ventures SEA and India, the Series B round saw backing from Hitachi Ventures as well as several existing institutional investors. These continued backers include Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners, and Titanium Ventures. RapidCanvas operates as a managed AI execution firm that leverages a hybrid operating model to build tailored enterprise systems, pairing custom artificial intelligence architecture with SaaS-style economics to optimize cost and performance for commercial clients.
Go-to-Market Expansion and Advisory Alliances
The fresh funds are earmarked to accelerate the growth of the company's go-to-market divisions. RapidCanvas intends to broaden its business reach by deepening engagements with private equity firms and advisory consultants. These ecosystem partners play a central role in distributing the firm's managed execution frameworks directly across their portfolio entities and institutional client networks, facilitating faster implementation across different sectors.
Scaling Engineering Presence in India, the US, and Brazil
A notable share of the new capital will be directed toward increasing headcount within India, where the business already maintains the bulk of its personnel. In addition, RapidCanvas plans to scale its specialized field AI engineering capabilities across India, the United States, and Brazil. While the enterprise has detailed the geographic focus of this talent acquisition strategy, it has not publicly announced specific timelines or exact hiring milestones for completing this planned team growth.
Technical Advancements Across Core Platforms
From an engineering perspective, RapidCanvas has outlined dedicated investments across three primary technical pillars. The company aims to deepen its enterprise context engine to enhance contextual processing for organizational data. It also plans to expand the specialized skills library underpinning its visual development canvas interface, while simultaneously reinforcing administrative governance and monitoring controls built into its operational harness.
