The alleged theft of crores of rupees in Ram Mandir donations has set off a fresh political storm. Arvind Kejriwal posted on the social media platform X putting the government on notice, framing his post as the first of several questions he intends to raise on the matter.
Crores in Donations Allegedly Stolen
Kejriwal's post states that crores of rupees in donations have been stolen from the Ram Mandir. He said this has made Ram devotees deeply angry and left them with a long list of unanswered questions. By describing this as his first question, he made clear that he plans to press the government further on this issue in the days ahead.
The Question About Champat Rai
The sharpest part of Kejriwal's post is directed at Champat Rai. He stated that the entire Ram Mandir is under Champat Rai's control and that the most serious allegations in the donation theft case are being levelled against him. Despite all this, Kejriwal asked, why has Champat Rai not been removed from his position? He went further and suggested that some form of fear is behind the inaction, though his post was cut off before he could complete that thought.
Public Reaction
The post drew a divided response online, with some users demanding hard evidence and dismissing it as political messaging, while others who are deeply invested in the Ram Mandir backed the call for accountability and asked who would answer for the alleged misuse of temple funds.
