Congress Alleges Religion Is Being Used for Votes
Congress leader Rashid Alvi was sharply critical of the film, accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party of repeatedly mixing religion with politics. Congress MP Manoj Kumar struck a more measured tone. He said it was necessary to actually watch a film before commenting on it, and that forming an opinion without doing so was not appropriate.
