A shocking incident has unfolded in Butoli village located within the Laxmangarh region of Alwar district in Rajasthan, where a young boy accidentally slipped into an uncovered borewell. The borewell is reported to be around 400 feet deep, with the child currently trapped at an estimated depth of 40 feet. News of the accident sent shockwaves through the neighborhood, drawing a massive assembly of local residents to the site as authorities raced against time to save the minor.
Prompt action was initiated by local authorities as soon as word of the accident spread. To extract the boy safely, three JCB excavators were deployed at the location to dig parallel to the shaft. Operations have successfully cleared about 25 feet of earth near the borewell to carve out a secure passage toward the trapped child. Specialized units from the State Disaster Response Force and the National Disaster Response Force arrived at the spot to spearhead the rescue mission. Local administration and police personnel are actively assisting in the coordination to ensure every safety protocol is strictly observed while reaching the victim.
Rescuers have also commenced efforts to dislodge a stone stuck inside the borewell shaft that had been obstructing the path. Preliminary details indicate that the accident occurred while Bhanu was running to catch a stray kite. During the chase, his foot landed squarely on a loose stone slab placed over the opening of the abandoned borewell. The moment his weight hit the slab, it shifted out of place, causing the boy to plummet directly into the dark abyss. The sudden tragedy triggered immediate panic among onlookers, who rushed to initiate preliminary rescue efforts while simultaneously notifying district officials.

Ramgarh MLA Sukhwant Singh was present at the site to oversee the round-the-clock rescue efforts. District Collector Artika Shukla along with a team of senior administrative officers also rushed to the village to supervise the ground operations. Adequate police forces have been deployed to maintain order as hundreds of anxious villagers crowd around the rescue zone, praying for the safe retrieval of the child.
