A troubling situation has emerged from the Bhatta Basti area of Jaipur, where the prolonged closure of a government school has ignited political friction. Seeing the fundamental right to education and the future of young students being compromised, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has adopted a firm stance and launched a concerted pushback. A special delegation from CJP conducted an unannounced visit to the Government Primary School located in New Sanjay Nagar, Bhatta Basti, to evaluate the ground reality of the institution. Local residents and parents of the affected children, who have been grappling with this shutdown for an extended period, expressed profound anger during the visit.
The Government Primary School in New Sanjay Nagar has remained shut for a long time, casting a dark shadow over the educational prospects of children in the neighborhood. Armed with resolve, the office-bearers and workers of CJP arrived at the school premises to inspect the situation firsthand. The team closely examined the school building and found that heavy locks had rendered the educational facility completely deserted. The rundown state of the classrooms and the playground clearly indicated that the institution had been bolted shut for ages, completely derailing the academic progress of the local children.
Expressing sharp resentment against the local administration and the education department, the visiting CJP team demanded the immediate removal of the locks. Party representatives asserted that keeping a government school shuttered is a direct blow to the futures of poor and underprivileged children. Due to the closure, numerous students have seen their education cut short, forcing them into dropping out altogether. Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, the CJP team personally connected with families whose children had abandoned their studies in the wake of the shutdown. The team listened to the grievances of these families and assured them that concerted efforts would be made to bring the children back to the classroom.
Ultimatum To Restore The Education System
News of the CJP team's arrival drew a gathering of local residents and parents at the site. Community members voiced their anguish to the party, explaining that the school's closure forces them to send their children to distant private or alternate government schools, imposing a severe financial strain on their households. The locals unitedly backed the demand to reopen the school without delay. Strongly protesting the dilapidated state of the building and the ongoing lockout, CJP issued a clear warning to the administration that failure to unlock the school and resume normal classes promptly will compel the party and the locals to launch a major agitation.
