A catastrophic road accident near Hindaun City in Rajasthan's Karauli district claimed the lives of three individuals, including a married couple, after a speeding mini bus collided head-on with a motorcycle on Wednesday. The deadly incident took place on Dubbi Road under the jurisdiction of the Shri Mahavir Ji police station. The sheer intensity of the crash resulted in the immediate death of all three motorcycle occupants, triggering panic and chaotic scenes as nearby residents rushed to the spot.
Violent Collision on Dubbi Road
According to reports, three people were traveling together on a single motorcycle along Dubbi Road on Wednesday. As they navigated the stretch, an oncoming mini bus struck their vehicle with severe force. The impact completely wrecked the motorcycle, and all three riders succumbed to their fatal injuries on the spot before medical assistance could arrive. Authorities identified the deceased as Bhagwat, his wife Bhagwani, and Lakshmi Narayan Koli. The sudden demise of the couple together has left their family in unbearable grief and cast a pall of gloom over the area.
Angry Locals Block Road with Bodies
Upon receiving information about the fatal crash, police personnel from both the Balghat and Shri Mahavir Ji police stations dispatched teams to the scene. Recognizing the severity of the situation, senior police officials from Hindaun City also arrived to manage the crowd. As law enforcement attempted to secure the scene and take custody of the bodies, aggrieved family members and local villagers staged a protest. Placing the three bodies on the main road, the demonstrators demanded the immediate arrest of the fleeing mini bus driver and strict legal action. The blockade caused major traffic snarls, completely halting vehicle movement along Dubbi Road.

Senior police officers engaged in extensive discussions with the protesting residents to de-escalate tensions. Authorities assured the crowd that a thorough investigation was underway and that stringent punitive measures would be taken against the errant driver. Following these assurances, the villagers ended their blockade, allowing the police to send the bodies for post-mortem examinations. Police have launched a comprehensive inquiry into the cause of the collision and are conducting searches to apprehend the bus driver.
