A shocking incident has emerged from the Jaswantpur police station jurisdiction in Uttar Pradesh's Etah district, where a 32-year-old man lost his life under mysterious circumstances during a fever treatment at home. The tragedy has triggered widespread concern among locals, prompting law enforcement agencies to launch a thorough investigation into the matter.
The Victim Was Suffering From Fever
According to available details, the deceased has been identified as Ratnesh, who had been down with a fever for the past few days. To seek medical relief for his condition, his family members summoned a local resident hailing from Nagla Himmat to their home. Besides running a local medical store, the accused routinely engaged in treating patients directly at their residences.
Rapid Deterioration After Injection
Family members stated that the visiting practitioner administered an injection to Ratnesh as a treatment for his fever. Almost immediately after the injection was delivered, his health nosedived drastically. Within a span of roughly five minutes, he succumbed to his condition. Panicked relatives rushed him to the Aliganj Community Health Center (CHC), where the attending doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Accused Flees and Police Investigation Begins
Reports indicate that the accused fled the location immediately after the incident unfolded. Upon receiving information, local police arrived promptly, took the body into custody, and transferred it to the district headquarters for a post-mortem examination. Jaswantpur Station House Officer Subodh Kumar उपाध्याय informed that law enforcement is currently awaiting the autopsy report.
The station officer added that once the official report arrives, the exact cause of death will become clear, shedding light on how the administered injection contributed to the tragedy. Subsequent legal steps will be enforced based on the medical findings, while an active inquiry remains underway.
