A deeply disturbing and bizarre case has come to light from Mathura district in Uttar Pradesh, where a mother allegedly strangled her three-year-old son to death. This chilling incident took place in Chhauli village under the Baldev police station jurisdiction. Nearly a month after the toddler's death, the case has taken a dramatic turn. Acting on a formal complaint filed by the child's father, law enforcement authorities have registered an FIR for murder against the mother and her alleged boyfriend, initiating a thorough investigation. Police officials stated that an impartial inquiry is underway, and further legal actions will be taken strictly based on collected evidence.
Last Rites Performed Before The Grim Truth Surfaced
According to the complainant, Krishna Murari, his wife Ruchi called him on the evening of June 28 to inform him that their approximately three-year-old son, Madhav, was unresponsive despite being woken up multiple times. Following this alarming call, the child was rushed to a private hospital in Mathura for medical treatment, where attending doctors pronounced him dead. Believing it to be a natural or sudden medical emergency, the grieving family subsequently proceeded to perform the child's final rites without raising initial suspicions.
Phone Conversation With Boyfriend Triggered The Murder
The father has alleged that some time after the tragedy, he overheard his wife talking on her mobile phone to an individual, during which the circumstances surrounding their son's death were allegedly being discussed. When the father confronted her with pointed questions, the wife allegedly confessed that she was involved in a romantic relationship with a young man. She admitted that while she was busy talking to her boyfriend over the phone, the toddler began creating a disturbance and making noise. Angered by the interruption during her phone call, she allegedly squeezed the child's throat, causing his death. The complaint further alleges that the woman's boyfriend was also fully aware of the incident.
Case Registered Against Mother And Alleged Boyfriend
Upon receiving formal information about the allegations, local authorities immediately registered a case against the mother and her alleged boyfriend, launching an extensive probe. Investigators are actively gathering mobile call detail records, technical evidence, and recording statements from relevant witnesses. Station House Officer Abhay Kumar Sharma stated that every single angle of the case is being scrutinized meticulously. Legal actions will follow depending on the facts established during the ongoing investigation, and the formal verification of the accusations will rely purely on concrete evidence.
Child Was Making Noise While Playing
Circle Officer Mahavan Sanjeev Kumar Rai stated that preliminary inquiries revealed the child's mother, Ruchi Gupta, had initially claimed that when the toddler was playing and making noise, her attempt to quiet and scolding him resulted in his neck getting pressed, leading to his unfortunate demise. She had originally informed her husband only that the child was simply not waking up. The family had taken the boy first to HIMMS Hospital and subsequently to another medical facility, where doctors declared him dead before the family carried out the funeral.
