Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has addressed a special open letter to the residents of the state, placing particular emphasis on the role of the younger generation. Commemorating the successful completion of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign across the state, the Chief Minister urged young citizens to take charge of self-building and nation-building. He highlighted that the energy, talent, discipline, and determination of the youth form the foundational pillars for constructing a developed Uttar Pradesh.
Culmination of Har Ghar Tiranga Across 5 Crore Households
In his letter, the Chief Minister announced the formal culmination of the massive initiative aimed at hoisting the national flag atop 5 crore homes across Uttar Pradesh. Expressing his gratitude, he extended heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all residents who participated in this campaign with great fervor. He noted that witnessing the state's emerging capabilities transform into tangible achievements across diverse sectors brings immense pride and joy to the entire region.
Inspiration from Young Freedom Fighters and Historic Icons
Sharing the letter in a post shared on X, Yogi Adityanath reflected on India's freedom movement, stating that extraordinary goals are realized when there is absolute resolve without alternatives. He recalled the sacrifices of revolutionaries who laid down their lives for the nation at a very young age, explicitly citing figures such as Babu Bandhu Singh, Khudiram Bose, Rajendra Nath Lahiri, Thakur Roshan Singh, and Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil.
Expanding on historical precedents where age did not limit impact, the Chief Minister cited Adi Shankaracharya, who unified the spiritual consciousness of India during his youth, and Swami Vivekananda, who conveyed India's cultural prowess to the global stage as a young man. He stressed that while age might be short, one's purpose and capability must remain vast and ambitious.
Parliamentary Entry at 26 and a 9.5-Year Governance Record
Reflecting on his own entry into public life, Yogi Adityanath shared that he was first elected to the Lok Sabha at the age of 26. Since taking that vow of public service, national development and community welfare have remained his guiding principles. Turning to policy implementation, he pointed out that over the past 9.5 years, the state government has created extensive avenues in education, skill development, employment, self-employment, and sports, urging youth to actively capitalize on these state-backed initiatives.
Embracing Yoga, Harmony, and the Principles of the National Flag
The Chief Minister called upon youth to align their personal ambitions with the broader objective of state and national progress. He advised incorporating daily yoga and physical exercise into routine life to maintain strength and vitality. Furthermore, he encouraged citizens to internalize the core values embodied by the tricolor, namely valor, peace, and prosperity, while rising above caste divisions to foster social unity and harmony.
