The National Early Warning Platform initiated the broadcast regarding potential threats, prompting rapid guidance from the Saudi Civil Defence. Shortly after the initial broadcast, however, emergency officials confirmed that the potential hazard had passed for Makkah city, Tabuk province, Jeddah governorate, and Yanbu governorate.
Protective Measures and Safety Protocols
Immediately following the notification, the Saudi Civil Defence Directorate issued instructions on X, urging recipients to maintain composure and adhere strictly to official protocols. Individuals receiving the warning were instructed to promptly move indoors or take shelter inside interior rooms located far away from windows, remaining there until authorities declared the environment fully safe.
The directives explicitly advised residents against stepping outside residential or commercial properties until the all-clear notice was granted. People were cautioned to keep away from open outdoor spaces, glass fixtures, balconies, and rooftops, while actively avoiding densely populated zones and potentially dangerous localities. Individuals caught outdoors without immediate indoor access were directed to seek cover inside nearby robust buildings or stand behind solid physical barriers.

Comprehensive guidelines were also issued for individuals operating vehicles during the time of the alert.
