Built Using Lifetime Savings and Retirement Funds
The history behind this patriotic temple reflects an extraordinary tale of personal sacrifice and devotion. In the year 2008, Dan Singh Choudhary devoted his entire lifetime savings and retirement funds to build this unique shrine. He undertook this noble endeavor following the inspiration of his spiritual guru, Narsinghanand Maharaj of Alirajpur. The resolution was brought to completion through the formal establishment of the temple by Paramanand Maharaj. Dan Singh Choudhary envisioned that martyred soldiers should not remain confined to history books, but should be honored as a living presence in daily worship. Following Dan Singh Choudhary's passing in 2016 and his mother's death in 2023, the Jamod family took over the complete responsibility of serving and managing the temple's daily operations.
Commemorating 21 Param Vir Chakra Awardees and 41 Statues
Stepping into the temple premises feels like journeying through independent India's proud defense history. The complex houses statues of distinguished military commanders who held landmark first-ever appointments in independent India. Notable honors are paid to General K.M. Cariappa, the first Commander-in-Chief of the Indian Army, Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, and Air Force Chief Arjan Singh. Crucially, the complex pays tribute to all 21 Param Vir Chakra recipients, India's highest military decoration awardees. In total, around 41 statues celebrating military bravehearts and influential figures of women empowerment are installed across the grounds. Tributes reflecting the national pillars of Amar Jawan, Amar Kisan, and Amar Vigyan further ignite a profound spirit of patriotism in every visitor.
