A crucial organizational brainstorming session is underway today at the Bharatiya Janata Party headquarters, led by newly appointed national president Nitin Modi. This marks the very first formal gathering of the party's newly formed team, spanning the entire day across three distinct sessions designed to outline upcoming responsibilities and political strategies.
The initial phase of the gathering features an introductory session where Nitin Modi personally introduces the newly appointed office-bearers to one another while detailing the party's expectations from them. Officials are being guided to maintain an active presence on social media and engage effectively with media outlets. Emphasis is also being placed on sustaining regular communication with grassroots workers and proactively resolving public grievances.
Discussions during this marathon session are heavily focused on strengthening organizational coordination across various administrative levels. With assembly elections scheduled in seven states next year, the meeting aims to align the new team's objectives with these electoral milestones while also laying the groundwork for the 2029 Lok Sabha elections and defining core organizational priorities.
The lineup of meetings also includes interactions with state party presidents, organizational general secretaries, and state incharges. A major item on the agenda is mapping out the nationwide celebrations and programs lined up to mark the completion of 25 years of public service by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Narendra Modi first took oath as the chief minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, remaining in continuous public office ever since. Before assuming the office of prime minister in 2014, he served as Gujarat's chief minister for nearly 13 years, followed by over 12 years at the nation's helm. The BJP announced its revamped 65-member team under Nitin Modi on August 17, featuring 51 fresh faces to signal a significant structural expansion.
