Police authorities from the Amet police station in Rajsamand district have resolved the Dalpat Singh murder case by apprehending the prime suspect, Raju Singh, from neighboring Maharashtra. The arrest comes exactly five days after the violent incident occurred in the Sardargarh area. Initial findings indicate that long-standing personal enmity and hostility between the two sides culminated in the fatal attack, which had created significant tension across the locality.
Deadly Stabbing Attack and Immediate Escape
According to the facts uncovered during the preliminary investigation, the accused attacked Dalpat Singh aggressively with a knife, inflicting fatal injuries due to their ongoing feud. Immediately after carrying out the brutal assault, the suspect fled the crime scene to evade arrest. Amet police initiated an intensive search operation without delay, deploying multiple specialized teams to raid multiple suspected hideouts across various locations in a bid to trace the absconding individual.
Technical Surveillance and Cyber Cell Lead to Breakthrough
To establish the trajectory of the fugitive, investigative teams examined closed-circuit television camera footage from the crime scene as well as neighboring transit points. Technical evidence gathered in coordination with the cyber cell provided critical intelligence regarding his movements. Continued electronic monitoring eventually confirmed that the suspect had fled Rajasthan and was taking refuge in Maharashtra. Acting on this precise location data, law enforcement personnel laid a coordinated trap and successfully apprehended Raju Singh on the fifth day following the crime.
Seizure of Eeco Van and Investigation Into Accomplices
During the operation, police also confiscated an Eeco van bearing Maharashtra registration plates from Raju Singh. Evidence indicates that the accused utilized this specific passenger van to escape across state lines following the stabbing. Investigators are currently questioning the suspect to identify local individuals who may have assisted him in leaving Rajasthan or provided him shelter, logistical backing, and sanctuary in Maharashtra. Further custodial interrogation is underway to recover the murder weapon and piece together the remaining factual aspects of the crime.
