Mayawati took to her official handle on X to share a detailed ten-point note outlining the exact reasons behind this expulsion and leveling serious allegations against both Akash Anand and Ashok Siddharth. According to the party leadership, both individuals have shown a greater affinity toward personal and family interests rather than dedicating themselves to the broader mission of the party and the Bahujan movement.
Assessing Ashok Siddharth's Political Exit
Addressing Ashok Siddharth's decision to step away from politics, Mayawati described it as a correct step taken much too late. She noted that had this choice been made considerably earlier, the BSP, the wider Bahujan community, the movement, and Akash Anand himself would not have had to navigate continuous adverse conditions during crucial preparation phases for the upcoming legislative assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
Emphasizing Core Ideology and Sacrifices
The BSP supremo recalled the foundational traditions set by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and Kanshi Ram, stressing that the party's journey is defined by deep sacrifice, penance, struggle, and a strict detachment from personal greed. She urged all members to rise above familial attachments and the desire for official positions so that the historically exploited and marginalized Bahujan society can ultimately become the ruling class.
Questioning Intentions and Dual Loyalties
Mayawati criticized Ashok Siddharth, suggesting that if he truly cared about Akash Anand's future and the welfare of the Ambedkarite movement, he would have retired immediately without hesitation. The delayed timing, she argued, indicates that underlying ambitions and questionable intentions remain fully intact. Furthermore, she pointed out that Akash failed to repost her official social media messages intended for his own benefit, preferring instead to demonstrate unwavering alignment with his father-in-law.
