A strange sequence of events has left an entire village stunned in Jhansi district, Uttar Pradesh. In Medhki village under the Mauranipur Kotwali area, two houses and a shop belonging to the same family have mysteriously caught fire, repeatedly, over the last three days, and no clear cause has been found yet. The mystery fire has spread panic through the village, and police and administration officials are now investigating.
Three days of fire that just won't stop
The case involves Rohit Sen, a resident of Medhki village. According to the affected family, fires have broken out again and again over the past three days. As soon as the fire in one house is put out, another fire suddenly breaks out in the second house a short while later. And by the time that second fire is brought under control, flames flare up once more in the first house. What has left everyone even more puzzled is that the family's shop has also caught fire, meaning two houses and a shop have now been hit by this mysterious blaze.
Household belongings reduced to ashes
The repeated fires have burned household belongings and several valuable items to ashes. Rohit Sen says everything he owned has been consumed by the flames, but it still isn't clear how the fires are actually starting. He said that every time they rush to put out the fire in the second house, flames somehow rise again in the first house, without anyone knowing why. For the family, this has turned into nothing short of a puzzle.
Police and administration launch investigation
As soon as word of the incident reached them, officials from Mauranipur Kotwali police and the tehsil administration reached the spot. Police have started investigating the case and are examining every possible cause behind the fires. However, there has been no official confirmation yet on what is actually causing the blazes. Police say the real cause will only become clear once the investigation is complete.
Panic grips the village
The repeated, sudden outbreaks of fire have spread panic through the entire village of Medhki. Villagers say these fires, breaking out seemingly on their own, are beyond comprehension. People have also grown anxious about their own homes. For now, villagers are waiting for the police investigation to conclude and the real cause to come to light.
